Anuradha founded the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women in 2015 and serves as its Founder and Dean. Vedica is a unique, re-imagined, 18-month residential programme in management practice for young women. It aims to create a cadre of professional women for the 21st century who are equipped to navigate challenges of the workplace and pursue fulfilling careers. She is deeply committed to bringing more women into the workplace and ensuring their dignity through financial independence. In its fifth year, the Programme is setting new benchmarks for management education for women.

Since 2007, Anuradha Das Mathur has been a Founder Director at 9.9 Media, India’s fastest growing niche media company where she leads a number of professional communities including CFOs and entrepreneurs; and the research, advisory and custom research services.

She is a Senior Advisor to the Albright Stonebridge Group where she leads assignments at the intersection of government, business and civil society to help international organisations with their India strategies. Her interests lie in policy advocacy and political economy. She is committed to creating a cadre of effective tri-sector professionals.

She is a Founder Director of Samarth, a fast-growing company focused on eldercare – a highly underserved sector in India (www.samarth.community). Set up by a group of conscientious professionals, Samarth delivers trusted and life-enhancing services for the elderly.

Before co-founding 9.9 Media, Anuradha led India’s most widely read business weekly magazine – Businessworld, and worked for 12 years with the EIU’s Indian affiliate.

She is passionate about professional women’s issues and set up the Foundation for Working Women in 2014. The Foundation works towards awareness, advocacy and infrastructure to enhance women’s participation in the workforce. In December 2015, she was recognised as one of 100 Women Achievers by the Government of India. In 2016, she became one of 16 Yale World Fellows – in recognition for being a dynamic, creative practitioner and disruptive thinker, as also for her areas of work. She regularly delivers talks and guest lectures on the importance of diversity in workplaces and on the need for tri-sector collaboration to solve the social and economic problems faced by the world at large today. Her writings on women and workplace issues have been published in Mint, Harvard Business Review and Huffington Post, amongst others.

She is on the Advisory Boards of Octane Marketing, Innovate Delhi Entrepreneurship Academy, the Value Creation Journal and PRIA, and is a Jury Member of the Martha Farrell Awards. She volunteers with PRADAN, one of India’s leading development organisations. She also regularly works with young people and mentors a number of students.

Anuradha holds a BA (Honours) degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, United Kingdom.
