Anu is a PG in Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics from National Law School Bangalore, has  independently consulted for promising Insurtechs like Loophealth, a primary healthcare company that is now a rising employee healthcare broker & Livwell Asia, an Insurtech propelling good habits along with Insurance and  won 2nd place in the IFSCA Hackathon in Feb 2022. 

Her career began with LIC of India in 1994. She is a founder member of Birla Sunlife Insurance, AMP Sanmar Life & Reliance Nippon Life, was responsible to scale up one of the largest Underwriting processes that handled volumes of 2.3 million policies by implementing the first automated underwriting & issuance in 2007. The projects she led have won awards at Asian Network of Quality & Quality Council of India

After a 10 year stint with Reliance, Anu moved as the Head of Operations at Indiafirst Life Insurance where she led projects like policy issuance on tab in 2013, underwriting through iris recognition in 2014. 
With Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, Anu  transitioned to BD & Distribution, acquired the first Small Finance Bank in 2018. 

Anu conceptualised &   executed setting up Star Union Daichi’s Bancassurance Commercial Support activating inactive partner bank branches and where she is back now, setting up their Digital Business.

Anu volunteers for Not for Profits entities as the Honorary President of Insurance Council (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry), with Sahamati Account Aggregator in their Life Insurance adoption related efforts and as an Executive Committee Member of the India Insurtech Association, a place for Insurtechs to connect with the rest of the Insurance ecosystem.

Anu loves spending time with her family & friends, travelling and music.
