Gunjan has been working in the fields of media, marketing and design since the age of 16. She started her own brand consulting firm ‘Design of Information’ in 2009, which won several coveted awards globally such as a Cannes Lions. Today, she serves as the CEO of India’s biggest independent global digital media firm, OML, which builds entertainment content with creators for brands and platforms to create cultural impact at scale.
She has been with OML since 2015, and was instrumental in building OML's global creator network over the last four years that started in India and now operates across 20+ countries and 1700+ content creators to help artists, brands and platforms build equity.
Backed by Emerald Media amongst others, a fund operated by KKR – OML today is India’s largest digital content producer and manager of digital talent.
In 2021, OML sold its Live Entertainment business to NODWIN Gaming, part of Nazara Group. OML’s Live IPs included renowned festivals such as Bacardi NH7 Weekender, YouTube Fanfest, and Red Bull Tour Bus.
OML sold its e-ticketing marketplace, Insider.in, to Paytm in 2018. Paytm Insider is the most profitable ticketing platform in India.

With degrees from the Schools of Communications and Visual Arts at Emerson College in Boston, with further education from Harvard Business School, her role is a natural extension of her training in spotting key media trends and building viable business models around it.
